Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to effectively supervise and lead maintenance operations. This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Supervise maintenance staff, providing leadership and guidance on best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance tasks.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance on all rooms in a timely manner.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Leadership experience in supervising teams is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
