Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities

• Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate documentation

• Implement individualized care plans and support clients in achieving their personal goals

• Aid in meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed

• Engage clients in recreational activities and facilitate community outings

• Utilize positive behavior management techniques to foster desirable behaviors

• Offer emotional support and companionship to clients

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment

**Experience**

• Previous experience in social work, care services, or related fields preferred

• Familiarity with dementia care, memory care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus

• Knowledge of care plans and home care practices is beneficial

• First aid certification is desirable

• Valid driver's license and ability to transport clients to appointments or activities may be required
