A Day as RBBB's Program Coordinator
The
Program Coordinator
helps ensure Read Better Be Better programs run smoothly and effectively across multiple sites. Working closely with
Program Managers, Program Coaches, and partner organizations
, this role coordinates program logistics, supports student recruitment, manages data and materials, and strengthens relationships with schools and community partners. The Program Coordinator also
supervises a team of part-time Program Coaches
and contributes to overall program operations and strategic priorities.

Your day starts in the office-responding to emails, preparing program materials, and coordinating with schools and Program Coaches. You'll organize supplies, schedule site visits, and ensure each school has what it needs to run our after-school reading programs.

In the afternoon, you're often out in the community-delivering materials, visiting campuses, and observing sessions to support Program Coaches and ensure consistent program quality.

One evening each week, you'll lead a team meeting with Program Coaches for training, team building, and progress updates about participating students.

Through your organization and leadership, you help make it possible for students across Phoenix to receive the literacy support they deserve.

Work Environment
Work is performed in both off-site (school and community) and office environments, with frequent travel between program locations across the Greater Phoenix area and, occasionally, throughout Arizona.

What You Need To Qualify
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a previous role

Valid Arizona driver's license (or ability to obtain before start)

Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card (or ability to obtain before start)

Strong organizational and communication skills
