Position Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Tops Bar-B-Q. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, operational excellence, and people development. As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations—ensuring outstanding food, exceptional guest service, and a positive culture for your team. Your leadership will play a key role in maintaining and growing our reputation as the go-to barbecue destination in the Mid-South.

General Manager Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and guest-focused service.
• Take a hands-on management approach, working alongside your team to meet service and quality goals.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Oversee financial performance, cash handling, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food quality standards.
• Partner with marketing and leadership on local promotions and community engagement.

GM Qualifications

• 2+ years of General Manager experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Proven success leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, financials, and restaurant operations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Passion for great food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
