Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) or BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst) Clinical Supervisor to oversee a caseload in the Northern Virginia area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will oversee clinical services, supervise staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions. This role requires residing within the specified location to facilitate in-person supervision and collaboration.
Duties
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to behavior technicians and junior staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in applied behavior analysis.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Conduct patient intake assessments, progress reviews, and ongoing data collection to monitor treatment efficacy.
- Oversee the implementation of behavioral interventions, ensuring they align with established protocols and client needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including behavioral health records, progress notes, and treatment summaries in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and support comprehensive developmental strategies.
- Train staff on medical terminology, data collection methods, and documentation standards to ensure consistency and quality of care.
- Facilitate communication with families and caregivers to promote understanding of treatment goals and progress.
- Provide parent training
Requirements
- Current certification as a BCBA or BCaBA with active certification status.
- Current Virginia License (LBA or LaBA)
- Reside within the specified location to support quarterly onsite supervision requirements.
- Demonstrated experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis principles, and special education strategies.
- Experience conducting patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and behavioral health screenings.
- Proficiency in data collection methods, medical documentation, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and patient care settings.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, healthcare providers, and educational teams.
