• Diagnose and repair HEAVY DUTY SEMI-TRUCK AND TRAILER such as: engine, transmission, steering, heating and A/C, test runs, air bag systems and so forth.

• up to date with all new software and programs

Mechanic Duties & Responsibilities

• Assess HEAVY DUTY SEMI-TRUCK AND TRAILER and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues
• Liaise with clients to determine their requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems
• Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform clients of any issues
• Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are kept in a safe and usable condition at all times
• Adhere to company work safety policies
• Types of mechanical work: alignment, breaks, oil changes, wheel seals, basic mechanic skills on heavy duty trucks and equipment, etc.

Mechanic Skills and Qualifications

• Experience conducting routine services and HEAVY-DUTY vehicle maintenance
• Demonstrated experience inspecting vehicles for faults and repairs
• Practical knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment
• Mechanic salary expectations

Average of $25/ $35 per hour. Salary may depend on level of experience.
