Underwriter and Risk Management Analyst

Risk Insurance Analyst 5+ years of progressive experience in risk management, insurance, or a related compliance role, preferably within insurance

Skilled at multitasking, communicating effectively, and driving tasks through to completion

Demonstrated experience managing a comprehensive commercial insurance program, including working with brokers

Work with audits of risk management and insurance

Strong understanding of insurance policy structures, terms, and conditions

Analyze exposures, set pricing, and make acceptance decisions within underwriting authority

Communicate coverage and technical differences clearly to brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders and review insurance contracts

Collaborate cross-functionally with management

Stay current on legal, regulatory, and case law developments that impact underwriting practice; share knowledge internally and externally

Prepare reports on insurance coverage, premiums and claims for upper management

Manage certificates of insurance and claims

Manage the claims process full cycle
