Controller

We're seeking an experienced Controller to oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our growing organization. This is a key strategic role for someone who thrives in a dynamic fintech environment and enjoys building scalable systems that support rapid growth.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
• Partner with leadership to analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive profitability.
• Coordinate with external partners such as auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions.
• Ensure compliance with tax filings, local regulations, and corporate reporting requirements.
• Support financial planning and modeling for growth initiatives, investments, and new product lines.
• Implement and optimize accounting software and reporting systems for greater automation and accuracy.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in a controller or senior accountant role—preferably in fintech, marketing, or SaaS.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, accounting systems, and financial reporting.
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Proven ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and support executive decision-making.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Self-starter mentality—able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
