If you are interested in being part of building something special, we have the perfect position for you. Fit2Run is rapidly growing and looking for a Store Manager to continue to build our Naples market.

As a Store Manager with Fit2Run, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will lead a team of sales associates, manage inventory, implement marketing strategies, and maintain a positive and engaging shopping environment. Your goal will be to drive sales, meet financial objectives, and uphold the store's reputation as a premier destination for running enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of sales associates, ensuring a high level of performance and customer service.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, motivation, and professional development.
  • Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to meet business needs and optimize customer service levels.

2. Sales and Customer Service:

  • Set sales targets and monitor performance, taking necessary actions to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, engaging with customers, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • Stay updated on running-related products, trends, and technology to effectively assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.

3. Store Operations and Visual Merchandising:

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, and inventory management.
  • Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing to create an inviting shopping environment.
  • Implement effective visual merchandising strategies, including product displays, signage, and promotions, to maximize sales opportunities.

4. Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure optimal product availability.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make informed inventory purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and other relevant data using appropriate software or systems.

5. Marketing and Promotions:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive foot traffic, and generate sales.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling advertising campaigns, social media content, and promotional materials.
  • Plan and organize store events, such as running clinics, group runs, and races, to engage the local running community.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a retail environment, preferably in the sports or specialty running industry.
  • Passion for running and knowledge of running gear, footwear, and accessories.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving sales results.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles and strategies.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47, $57,458.63 per year

Experience:

  • Customer Service: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Retail Management: 2 years (Preferred)
