Job Description

In this role, you'll be the trusted advisor for Personal Express Insurance Company (PEIC) policies, guiding clients through their insurance needs with confidence and care. You'll handle day-to-day customer interactions, deliver exceptional service, and ensure every policy meets underwriting standards. In turn, helping us maintain a strong, profitable book of business. Key Responsibilities- Generates new business opportunities and sells new business policies
- Provides exceptional customer service through face-to-face, telephone or written inquiries from clients regarding coverage, rating and billing procedures
- Determines acceptability of new & renewal business per the company's Underwriting rules and guidelines using information gathered from insured, brush fire reports, motor vehicle records, CLUE reports, inspections and risk notices from claims
- Services existing policies as well as soliciting additional lines of business or coverages through cross-selling
- Updates rating information and verifies accuracy of policy information
- Provides rate and coverage information to prospective clients' inquiries
- Special projects as assigned by management
Minimum Skills and Competencies:

- Current Property and Casualty Insurance License
Desired Skills (not required):
- 2+ years insurance work experience
- 5 Years in Personal Lines Insurance as a Producer or CSR
- Previous customer service, sales, insurance experience
- Professional and customer focused
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently
- Ability to work independently to solicit and produce new business and seek new business opportunities
- This job does not have supervisory duties.
Compensation
Additional Job Description
Base compensation offered for this role is $22.00- $28.00 /per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
*** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
