Junior Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our civil dirt work construction management team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about construction projects, project coordination, and management. Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using software
• Support project coordination activities, including tracking progress, updating schedules, and managing documentation
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to facilitate project understanding
• Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Aid in preparing construction estimates and reviewing contracts to ensure scope compliance
• Coordinate communication between contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to streamline project workflows
• Monitor construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and work progresses as planned
• Support the preparation of reports on project status, risks, and issues for senior management
• Assist with the use of tools such as GPS Survey Systems, Bluebeam for takeoffs, and other construction management software for project documentation and planning

Skills

• Familiarity with construction management software
• Knowledge of project scheduling, construction estimating, and contract management processes
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Strong organizational skills with effective time management abilities
• Basic understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating among diverse teams and stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience or coursework related to civil engineering or construction management is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
