Position Title: Quality Control Technician – 2nd Shift
Department: Manufacturing
Hours: 2:45p.m – shift end (hours may vary)
Schedule: Monday – Friday + Saturdays
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Location: Holland, Michigan

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform daily kitchen pre-operational inspection
• SOP corrective actions (Facilities Audits)
• Random weight analysis of incoming ingredients
• Checking incoming packaging and labels
• Hourly line audits
• Collecting ingredient samples for Micro Lab analysis
• Inspecting all out going products and returned product from customers
• Operational Sanitation Reports
• Shipping product out to customers
• Organizing product evaluations and communicating results
• Organizing Quality Control cage retention samples
• All duties include detailed and accurate information tracking and documentation per standardized procedures

Key Qualifications:

• One to three months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Able to be flexible with the variety of work responsibilities available.

Physical Demands:
This role requires a high level of physical activity, including:

• Extensive walking and standing
• Repetitive motion (hands/wrists)
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Use of ladders

Work Environment:

• Cold and wet conditions (may vary)
• Work with refrigerated, frozen and hot products.
