This is a strategic role for a motivated, customer-centric commercial leader who excels in identifying and driving new opportunities, cultivating long-term relationships, and bringing innovative solutions to market.
This position is fully remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in California or operating within the Pacific Time Zone.
The Opportunity
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding new customer pipelines and accelerating growth. You will lead market analysis, identify high-potential accounts, develop differentiated go-to-market strategies, and collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to convert opportunities into measurable revenue.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts across a defined territory, targeting high-value markets and emerging customer segments.
- Build and deepen relationships at all levels within new and existing accounts, establishing trust, credibility, and long-term partnership potential.
- Uncover new opportunities by understanding customer needs, strategic objectives, and market trends.
- Present the company's full portfolio of technology solutions with clarity, confidence, and a strong value-based narrative.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive pipeline growth, new product adoption, and customer penetration.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, manage pricing and margin considerations, and support internal teams through the full commercial cycle.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Marketing on customer solutions, new product ideas, and commercial strategy.
- Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a high standard of customer service.
- Travel as required within the U.S. and internationally (approximately 40–50%).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within technology, electronics, hardware, or related sectors.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand customer engineering challenges and evolving market requirements.
- Proven track record of identifying, qualifying, and winning new business.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop targeted go-to-market approaches using competitive insight and market data.
- Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Able to travel domestically and internationally.
