Confidential Search: Accounting Manager (Remote – East Coast Preferred)

A growing international consumer goods company is seeking an experienced
Accounting Manager
to join its Finance & Accounting team. This critical role oversees all U.S. accounting activities while partnering closely with global colleagues across Europe. The position provides exposure to both CPG and foodservice business segments and offers the opportunity to help strengthen financial operations during a period of expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, financial reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Oversee chargebacks, discounts, and sales program reporting in partnership with the sales team.
• Collaborate with supply chain and operations to manage inventory accounting, costing, and valuation.
• Maintain and optimize the ERP system (NetSuite preferred) for accurate financial reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and support annual audits.
• Evaluate and mitigate financial risks while developing scalable accounting processes.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in the CPG sector strongly preferred.
• Background with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
