Shuttle Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including buses, limousines, and paratransit vans, along assigned routes.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers warmly and assisting with boarding and alighting.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and overall vehicle condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and report any issues promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage or cargo when necessary, including heavy lifting tasks.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or similar roles such as limousine or school bus driving.
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on the vehicle.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members.
• Ability to perform light maintenance checks and recognize when professional repairs are needed.
• Experience with heavy lifting and handling cargo safely is a plus.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices in commercial driving environments.

Pay: $ $18.64 per hour
