Fire & Ice Heating and Air Conditioning is a reputable, privately owned HVAC company dedicated to providing top-tier heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions to residential clients in the Farmington Valley area. Our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction has fueled our growth, and we are looking for a motivated, technically proficient, Technical Sales Manager, to join our team.

This role requires a blend of in-depth Residential HVAC technical knowledge, and the ability to manage projects and provide expert guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Quoting: Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs, perform necessary heating/cooling load calculations, design appropriate systems, and prepare detailed, accurate sales proposals and quotes.
  • Technical Support: Serve as a technical resource for the field technicians and office staff, assisting with complex troubleshooting, system design questions, and ensuring compliance with local and state codes.
  • Project Management: Oversee sold projects from conception to completion, collaborating with office and installation teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Sales Strategy & Management: Assist the owner in developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. This role may evolve into managing others as the company grows.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Utilize CRM software to maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and project statuses.
  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and mentoring to team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and new technologies.

Qualifications

  • Experience: HVAC knowledge and the ability to assess and recommend solutions for residential customers.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of residential HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair processes.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Must be proficient with computer software, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Personal Attributes: Must be self-motivated, organized, results-oriented, and customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
