Sr Network Engineer

Salary is 140k to 170k
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee systems and network infrastructure, including firewalls, routing, switching, storage, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Lead design standards, operational best practices, and technical guidance for internal teams.
• Implement and optimize infrastructure solutions that improve reliability, performance, and security.
• Manage lifecycle planning, capacity management, upgrades, and escalated incidents.
• Coordinate cross-team initiatives, communicate system impacts, and produce documentation.
• Support disaster recovery planning, security assessments, and change management processes.
• Recommend new technologies and ensure alignment with business and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Network Architecture experience, with strong skills in Palo Alto firewalls, Juniper networking, VXLAN/EVPN, OSPF/BGP, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with enterprise wireless, ACL management, NAC/802.1x, and authentication systems (LDAP/AD/RADIUS).
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Perl/Python), and IaC tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• Ability to diagnose complex issues, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across technical teams.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Certifications such as PCNSE, JNCIS/JNCIP, CCSP, or ITIL.
