Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and potential threats are mitigated. The Security Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents as they arise.

Description:
LAWW Security Services is hiring reliable and alert to patrol and monitor commercial, residential, and institutional sites. These professionals help deter incidents and respond to potential security threats.

Duties:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities within the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Enforce company policies regarding loss prevention and conflict management.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in drills or training sessions.
• Conduct routine patrols and monitor access points
• Report suspicious activity or safety concerns
• Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
• Ensure compliance with site-specific post orders
• Provide a visible deterrent and safety presence

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess relevant experience in security or law enforcement. Preferred qualifications include:

• (Armed License)
• Must DRIVE
• Night club experience a hug plus
• Valid Drivers License
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years or older
• Prior security experience required
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Professional conduct and integrity
• Certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Experience with loss prevention strategies.
• A background in military or law enforcement is advantageous but not mandatory.
