Sting Alarm is looking for a Residential Security Sales Representative who believes great sales starts with listening—not pressure.

We help homeowners protect what matters most through integrated security solutions backed by real service, real people, and a local team that shows up when it counts.

We are seeking outgoing, confident personalities with a positive attitude who can consistently meet the minimum monthly sales quota. Applicants need to be organized and be able to build rapport with prospects as well as have strong sales closing skills.

What You'll Do

  • Meet with homeowners to design personalized security solutions
  • Explain options clearly and honestly—no scare tactics
  • Work qualified leads and build local referrals
  • Guide customers from first conversation through installation
  • Represent a trusted, community-focused brand

What We're Looking For

  • Residential sales experience (security or home services preferred)
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Self-starter mindset with integrity
  • Comfortable working in the field and in neighborhoods
  • Desire to build long-term customer relationships
  • Use consultative sales style to deliver state of the art security system solutions
  • Network and create self generated opportunities
  • Handle any company generated leads promptly
  • Stay organized by using the company CRM and keeping it updated and current
  • Stay current on existing and emerging technologies
  • Identifying sales prospects
  • Prospecting via cold-calling
  • Presenting sales proposals to prospects and identifying positive features and advantages of our products and services
  • Following up with prospects in a timely manner
  • Following up with customer installations
  • Maintaining customer satisfaction after installation

Position Requirements

  • Experience selling electronic security systems required
  • Effective communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and secure a Metro Work Card
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Computer literacy and experience required, specifically with Microsoft programs, CRMs, estimation software
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Aptitude for problem solving
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Dress clean and appropriate for a sales role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40, $150,000.00 per year
