Overview

A private family in the greater Indianapolis area is seeking a dedicated ABA Therapist to provide one-on-one behavioral support for their 2-year-old daughter diagnosed with autism. This role is unique in that the therapist will work primarily in the home and will also travel with the family when needed.

The ideal candidate is someone compassionate, patient, and experienced with early-childhood ASD interventions. You will play a key role in helping her grow, develop, and navigate daily routines with consistency and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in the home environment.
• Support the child during travel, maintaining routines and therapeutic consistency.
• Implement tailored behavior and skill-building programs appropriate for a 2-year-old.
• Track progress through simple data collection and communicate updates with the parents.
• Reinforce communication, social, motor, and adaptive skills through structured play and ABA-based methods.
• Collaborate with the family and any existing school/therapy providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a calm, child-centered approach in all settings.

Requirements

• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum, especially toddlers.
• Training or certification in ABA therapy (RBT, BCaBA, BCBA, or equivalent experience).
• Ability to travel with the family when needed (passport a plus).
• Comfortable working in a private home environment.
• Strong communication skills and patience with young children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.
