Financial Reporting Senior – Global Sustainability Leader

A large, publicly traded, global organization (10,000+ employees; $10B+ revenue) that operates across all 50 states and Canada to hire a Financial Reporting Senior for their External Reporting team. This is a high-visibility role supporting SEC filings, US GAAP compliance, and financial reporting process improvements during a major global transformation.

Responsibilities:

• US GAAP Compliance: Support the organization's transition from IFRS to US GAAP. Build tools, processes, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Process Improvement: Partner cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and other corporate functions to streamline reporting and analysis.
• Standardization: Help establish consistent reporting processes across a large multi-entity footprint.
• Financial Accounting Support: Work closely with internal/external auditors, support SOX-related requirements, and respond to audit inquiries.
• Financial Compliance: Perform flux analysis and other financial compliance tasks as needed.
• Month-End Close & Reporting: Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting deliverables.
• Systems & Tools: Contribute to enhancements and implementations of reporting systems (including SAP ECC, SAC, and Tagetik).
• Technical Research: Prepare accounting memos and support ad-hoc special projects involving complex or unusual transactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience (Big 4 or large audit + manufacturing experience strongly preferred)
• CPA preferred
• Strong US GAAP knowledge
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Suite skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, transformation-focused environment
• Ability to travel ~5%
