Join the Spend CX team and help shape innovative solutions for BILL's internal customer experience and employee-facing applications. As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in building scalable, user-centric systems that support BILL's growth, blending modern technologies like React and Elixir within a dynamic fintech environment. Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust full-stack features using React (frontend) and Elixir (backend).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with user and business needs.
• Own the delivery and quality of mission-critical internal applications, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying technical gaps, proposing solutions, and optimizing existing systems.
• Mentor and support team members through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
• Champion best practices in software engineering, including testing, documentation, and maintainability.
• Partner cross-functionally to troubleshoot high-impact issues and proactively prevent recurring problems.

We'd Love To Chat If You Have

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack applications, ideally with React and Elixir (or other functional BE languages like Ruby, Rust, Erlang, etc).
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in agile development environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and systematic approach to addressing complex technical challenges.
• Commitment to delivering user-friendly solutions that enable business efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.

The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL's bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
