Buyer Planner

• Plan & Purchase: Manage production schedules and purchasing to meet quality and delivery goals.
• Collaborate: Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, EH&S, Material Control, and Customer Service to resolve issues quickly.
• Forecast & Optimize: Use analytics and MRP systems to anticipate needs, prevent shortages, and avoid excess inventory.
• Drive Efficiency: Recommend process improvements for ISO 9001 compliance and continuous improvement.
• Vendor Management: Build strong supplier relationships to reduce costs and improve service.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate purchasing and planning records, reconcile receiving and accounting issues.
• Safety First: Model and promote safe work practices in all activities.

• Experience: 2–3+ years in manufacturing purchasing/planning.
• Education: High School Diploma required; additional certifications a plus.
  • Skills:Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving ability in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
  • Understanding of inventory control, material flow, and ISO standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sturbridge, MA.

The pay range for this position is $ $43.00/hr.
