Job Overview:
The
Senior Technology Consultant
plays a key role in supporting advanced 4G/5G network testing, IT security, and infrastructure protection initiatives. This position is responsible for leading Landslide platform upgrades, conducting in-depth troubleshooting and optimization, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of network systems.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with both
Lab
and
Production
teams to drive continuous improvement across testing environments and production networks. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and hands-on experience in next-generation mobile networking technologies.
This position is based in
Redmond, WA
or
Plano, TX
, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Job Responsibilities:
- In-depth understanding of 4G & 5G mobile network user and control plane protocols.
- Analyzing complex call flows, including E2E mobility services.
- Able to effectively troubleshoot network issues and perform Root Cause Analysis.
- In-depth Landslide TAS/TS scripting and configuration skills.
- Effectively work with internal/external teams to anticipate and qualify customer needs.
- Proficient in managing Linux systems with expertise in debugging, scripting, and root-cause analysis.
- Able to effectively develop and present test plans and communicate test results to customers.
- Identify customer requirements and communicate these requirements/feature requests to Product Marketing.
- Provide post-sales support and ongoing customer training, as required.
- Work with Spirent Support and Engineering teams to help solve customer issues.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 8+ years of work-related experience required.
- In-depth 4G/5G Mobile Core Networking, 3GPP protocol experience, and network troubleshooting expertise.
- Expertise with Test Tooling, Test Automation, and designing e2e Mobility test cases.
- Experience with OpenStack & Cloud environments.
- Experience with Ansible is preferred.
- Hands-on work experience on Azure is preferred.
- Programming Language experience in Python, TCL/TK is preferred.
- Strong technical skills in IP networking, network security, telecommunications, and applications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
