The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the sales teams and facilitating communication between sales representatives, internal teams, and external vendors, contributing to increasing team efficiency by providing administrative support while maintaining positive customer relations with existing and future clients.
This position will involve working directly with the Sales Department and General Manager to achieve sales goals across the designated territory and markets, often multi-state.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative assistance and support to the Sales Team, which includes reviewing all orders submitted to confirm pricing, model numbers, specifications, options, sales tax, and customer information, to guarantee Sales Representatives have accurate information for customer invoices and files.
- Processes and enters all signed sales orders received into the accounting system. Assists with ordering the equipment, tracking the delivery to the warehouse, as well as, coordinating with the Service and Installation Department the delivery schedule to meet customer's timelines and availability.
- Responsible for entering customer information into logging systems such as SAP and/or Sales Force.
- Customer support expert, responsible for answering phone calls and email correspondence. Expected to connect with customers to confirm and communicate the status of the order, including notifications of any possible delays or setbacks, answering inquiries, and confirming details of orders.
- Connects with the Sales Manager or GM to build and process special projects such as construction contracts for projects within the given State or City Public Works Contracts as they may involve prevailing wage rates as set by each County per the Department of Labor and Industries. May require filing intents prior to delivery of equipment and Affidavits after job/project is complete. May require collaboration with accounting if certified payrolls are required, and with Service Manager to determine job classification to assess scope of work.
