Bales Security is looking for an Armed Security Officer Manager (Field Manager) in the Tampa Bay area. Our Field Managers must have a strong work ethic. The individual we are seeking must have their D and G SECURITY LICENSES issued by the State of Florida at the time they start. Additionally, the candidate must have their own equipment and reliable transportation.

For consideration, the candidate we would select would need to have a clean background to be considered for the position. The candidate must also possess superior communication and customer service related skills, as they will be working closely with our team of officers and our clients on a daily basis.

Our Agency represents all manner of important client sites such as Schools, Executives, Banks, and other high-profile accounts. Qualifications:

The skills needed for this position include, but are not limited to:;

• Two years of management experience in a security environment: law enforcement or military experience preferred;
• Two years of armed security officer experience is preferred if the candidate does not possess law enforcement or military experience.
• Trained in the Florida School Guardian Program preferred.
• Proficiency in writing reports;
• Strong observation and quick decision-making skills;
• Proficiency in using electronics;
• Management experience;
• Consistently wear a clean, sharp uniform;
• High level of customer service skills;
• High level of communication skills

• Effective organizational skills, ability to handle multi-tasking assignments, and effective time management.
• Ability to work within a team environment;
• Flexibility, being open to change, and being optimistic with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Manage conflict resolution and respond to incidents promptly.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and maintain accurate documentation regarding sites and officers.
• Continuously train, coach, and mentor security officers at an assortment of sites and positions.
• Manage Timesheets and submit timesheets for approval.
• Interview and conduct onboarding briefings.
• Other duties as required.

Successful candidates must also be able to provide their own firearm. This is an immediate hire position.
