Role Description

This is an on-site, contracted position with the opportunity to transition to full-time, Associate Therapist (AMFT/ACSW) role located in Mid-City Los Angeles (Miracle Mile). The Associate Therapist will work closely with clients to provide individual and group therapy sessions, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans. The role involves maintaining detailed client records, facilitating evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care. Additional responsibilities include supporting clients in addressing co-occurring mental health issues and participating in ongoing staff training and supervision sessions.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling
  • Experience in client assessment, treatment planning, and case management
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices and interventions for addiction recovery
  • Proficiency in documentation and maintaining compliance with clinical standards
  • Exceptional communication, empathy, and active listening skills
  • Possession of an active Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) license
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in addiction treatment or mental health settings is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
