The career opportunity for you:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform light maintenance and general facility upkeep for our office, warehouse, and manufacturing areas. The ideal candidate will ensure the workspace remains safe, clean, and in good working condition by handling basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and assisting with facility improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance tasks such as painting, changing light bulbs, repairing doors, tightening hardware, and replacing ceiling tiles.
• Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Inspect and maintain building systems to ensure proper operation.
• Support office and other staff with small facility requests (e.g., hanging shelves, moving furniture, setting up workstations).
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and common spaces.
• Coordinate with outside vendors or contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.
• Perform routine inspections of the facility to identify and address potential safety or maintenance issues.
• Track maintenance supplies and assist with inventory management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a maintenance, handyman, or facilities support role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Work Environment

• Combination of office, light manufacturing, and warehouse environments.
• May involve occasional exposure to noise, dust, or varying temperatures.
• Must follow all company safety and operational procedures.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with some possible overtime
