As part of continued growth, they are looking to hire a
Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Consultant
to support the sales team with product demonstrations, technical expertise, and customer engagement.
The Role
This role sits at the intersection of
sales, technology, and customer experience
. You will be responsible for delivering engaging product demonstrations, supporting prospects through the technical evaluation process, and acting as a trusted advisor during the pre-sales journey.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in
pre-sales, sales engineering, solutions consulting, or customer/technical support
who has delivered
numerous demos
and enjoys working directly with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, tailored product demonstrations to prospective customers
- Partner closely with Sales to support the full pre-sales lifecycle
- Understand customer requirements and map them to product capabilities
- Answer technical and functional questions during demos and evaluations
- Provide technical support during trials, proof-of-concepts, and onboarding phases
- Act as the voice of the customer, feeding insights back to Product and Sales teams
- Maintain deep knowledge of the platform, features, and integrations
- Support RFPs, technical documentation, and solution proposals where required
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in
Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Support - Proven track record of delivering
product demos
to customers or prospects - Strong interpersonal and communication skills — confident presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable working in a customer-facing, consultative role
- Solid technical aptitude and ability to quickly understand SaaS platforms
- Experience supporting customers in a B2B software environment
Desirable (but Not Essential)
- Experience with
event management, event tech, or SaaS platforms - Understanding of integrations, APIs, or CRM systems
- Background working with enterprise or mid-market customers
- Experience supporting sales teams in a high-growth environment
