Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with different trailer types, and a commitment to safety and timely deliveries. Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight vehicles
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Drive route-specific deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Follow scheduled routes efficiently, managing time effectively for timely deliveries
• Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving, including delivery driver roles with route driving responsibilities
• Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks and various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
• Experience in freight handling, load & unload procedures, and managing freight safety protocols
• Prior experience with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of trucking regulations and safety standards for commercial drivers
• Ability to drive tractor-trailers and manage complex routes efficiently

This role requires a valid CDL license with relevant endorsements depending on the vehicle type. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, reliability in delivery schedules, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks associated with commercial trucking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8, $13,000.00 per week
