Field Operations Manager

DAVE (Digital Audio Visual Environments), a VP Supply Division, designs and delivers innovative audio, video, lighting, and automation systems for residential and commercial clients. We're looking for a Field Operations Manager in Rochester, NY to lead our installation team and ensure projects are executed seamlessly from kickoff through completion.

Job Duties:

• Manage AV projects on-site, ensuring they're completed on time, within scope, and to DAVE's quality standards.
• Serve as the main point of contact during installations.
• Coordinate with sales engineers and internal operations to keep projects on track.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of up to 10 installation technicians.
• Oversee scheduling, resource planning, and job-site safety.
• Conduct site inspections and project close-outs to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of field experience in AV and construction industries.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing technicians or field teams.
• Knowledge of AV design principles and ability to read schematics/drawings.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and must be able to pass a DMV Motor Vehicle Record Assessment.

Highly Desired: 

• Familiarity with AV platforms like Savant, Control4, QSC, Lutron, or Crestron.
