Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR practices and experience with payroll processing. This role will support various HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and ensuring accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen, source, and identify talent for the organization.
- Coordinate and schedule face-to-face interviews for managers.
- Represent the company at job fairs and networking recruitment events.
- Conduct background checks and employment history verifications.
- Manage the full cycle of onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Collaborate with business units to understand and meet hiring needs.
- Conduct weekly meetings with assigned business units to address HR concerns.
- Provide HR guidance to management and employees on various issues, including employee relations and performance management.
- Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies in partnership with the HR team.
- Handle and resolve complex employee relations matters and conduct thorough investigations.
- Ensure legal compliance in managing employees, partnering with the legal department as needed.
- Advise management on performance management practices, including coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Foster a positive work environment by improving work relationships, building morale, and increasing productivity and retention.
- Offer HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Support business unit restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Identify and address training needs for employees and ensure training objectives are achieved.
- Perform other related HR duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in talent acquisition and recruitment strategies.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with excellent time management.
- Knowledge of performance management best practices.
- Understanding of employment laws and OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
