Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Verify the contents of each shipment against delivery documents.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
• Follow routes and time schedule.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Complete logs and reports.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.

Desired Requirements And Skills

• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver.
• Valid Texas driver's license.
• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Desired/Preferred Education

• High school degree or equivalent
