Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Manager to lead our plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, and systems engineering, with expertise in project scheduling, product development, and technical design. This leadership role requires a forward-thinking professional capable of overseeing complex projects, fostering innovation, and ensuring operational excellence. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's vision and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet organizational goals.
- Oversee the design and development of systems using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and System design tools.
- Manage engineering projects related to manufacturing, construction, fabrication, and product development from conception through completion.
- Supervise the creation of technical documentation including schematics, system schematics, and fabrication drawings.
- Oversee the integration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing root causes of issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of quality assurance throughout all Projects.
Skills
- Experience with project scheduling tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks; familiarity with CATIA or similar is a plus.
- Background in manufacturing processes, construction management, and fabrication techniques.
- Expertise in mechanical engineering principles
- Experience with civil engineering concepts relevant to infrastructure projects.
- Deep understanding of systems engineering approaches for complex product development and system design.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and debugging across multiple disciplines.
- Knowledge of GD&T standards for mechanical drawings and schematics creation.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on math-based problem solving related to industrial engineering concepts.
- Excellent leadership abilities to manage large teams while fostering innovation and collaboration.
