We are seeking a skilled, motivated Veterinary Technician Supervisor (LVT or CVT preferred)   to lead our technician team, support hospital operations, and help drive excellence in patient care. Position Summary: The Veterinary Technician Supervisor oversees daily technical staff operations, ensures high-quality medical care, promotes teamwork, and supports doctors and hospital leadership. This role combines hands-on clinical work with leadership, training, and workflow management. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of veterinary technicians and assistants
  • Coordinate daily staffing, scheduling, and workflow
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
  • Provide advanced technical support: anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and emergency care
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and industry standards
  • Maintain inventory and oversee equipment maintenance
  • Communicate clearly with doctors, staff, and clients
  • Address team concerns, promote positive culture, and support continuous improvement
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2–4 years of veterinary technician experience  required
  • Supervisory or lead tech experience preferred
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT)  strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid technical skills in anesthesia, radiology, dentistry, and patient care
  • Passion for mentorship, team development, and high-quality medicine
