Hydra Health Retail Associate

We're looking for a proactive, personable, and dependable Retail Associate to join our gift store team at TriStar Centennial Hospital. You'll play a critical role in delivering outstanding guest experiences and supporting daily store operations in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Ideal candidates bring high energy, excellent attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership. You'll anticipate needs, contribute to a welcoming and orderly space, and help ensure the store runs smoothly every shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, helpful, and professional customer experience from start to finish
• Make personalized recommendations and guide customers through their purchases
• Restock merchandise regularly and assist with inventory organization
• Circulate the sales floor to proactively assist guests and maintain store appearance Operate the POS system accurately and troubleshoot basic technical issues (registers, speakers, etc.)
• Follow loss prevention protocols and escalate issues appropriately
• Uphold Hydra Health's cleanliness standards, including regular cleaning of surfaces, floors, break areas, and stockrooms
• Handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, including occasional de-escalation
• Maintain discretion and professionalism in a hospital setting
• Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Hydra Health's uniform and employee policies
• Adhere to strict opening and closing procedures to ensure punctuality for all scheduled shifts

What We're Looking For

• Prior retail or customer-facing experience strongly preferred
• Clear, confident communicator who builds rapport easily
• Reliable team player who takes pride in their work and follows through on tasks
• Consistently punctual and dependable; arrives on time and ready to work each shift
• Adheres to all uniform and appearance standards to reflect our professional environment
• Able to multitask in high-traffic or fast-paced environments Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
• Familiarity with basic tech (POS systems, handhelds, speakers)
• High standards for cleanliness, organization, and store presentation
• Flexible availability, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Compensation & Requirements

Starting pay: $15.00/hour
Offer contingent on successful criminal background check and employment verification
Compliance with Hydra Health, HCA TriStar Centennial, and other applicable health/vaccine policies is required.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
