POSITION SUMMARY:

To be a productive member of our manufacturing team. Operates forming machines (press brakes) used to bend metal of various sizes into configurations needed for the product.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

• Must be able to accurately feed metal parts into the press brake machine.
• Produce quality products in an efficient manner.
• Form product in the correct dimensions and to proper tolerances
• Perform complex machine programming.
• Work with tight tolerance.
• Ability to adjust machine setup.
• Possess knowledge to know when a machine is out of tolerance.
• Efficient use of precision measuring devices.
• Knowledge to perform inspection of formed parts.
• Follow and read instructions
• Read and understand blueprints, symbols, and tolerances.
• Checks height, depth, and thickness using precision measuring devices.
• Perform self-inspection on the first piece produced.
• Easily switch between assignments.
• Make safety a top priority.
• Other duties as assigned.

EXPIRENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must have basic shop math skills.
• Must be able to read and understand ISO procedures.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Must be cooperative and willing to share knowledge.
• Strictly follow ISO protocols.
• Ability to stand and concentrate for long periods of time.
• Follow shop rules, schedules.
• Excellent attendance required.
• Use the ERP system to log jobs and time.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office
• Must be able to lift 50lbs (with assistance)
• 2-3 years' experience preferred.

• Pay Rate: $21 - $25 per hour
