We are currently seeking a Project Administrative Project Coordinator to be based out of our Los Angeles region and support our engineering and construction teams. This position reports directly to the LA Sr. Project Manager. Candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug screen/physical and background check.

  • Provide administrative support to construction team.
  • Maintain various project logs, proficiency with Excel preferred
  • Support onboarding, separations, and general employee relations of employees.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing Dept coordinating receiver's tickets, orders, and filing.
  • Ordering office supplies.
  • May support more than one project at a given time.
  • Travel between Los Angeles project sites required.
  • Increasing exposure to duties of a construction Project Engineer, great career ladder opportunity.

  • 2+ years of administrative and/or customer service experience

  • Strong computer skills are a must. Specifically, MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent customer service skills and adaptability.
  • Organized with multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work well as a team and interact with different groups of people.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the general construction industry is helpful but not required.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Working towards certification, associate's, or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related preferred
  • PHR/SHRM Certificate a plus but not required

  • Repetitive motion with hands and fingers, regular keyboard and ten-key use.

  • Ability to infrequently lift up to 10 pounds.
  • The job is primarily assigned to a construction site environment.
