Job Title: Engineering Technician

An engineering technician assists engineers by building, testing, and maintaining equipment and systems, collecting and analyzing data, and helping to solve technical problems. Their duties include calibrating instruments, performing tests, compiling reports, and ensuring quality control in various engineering fields.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Be proficient in the use of various types of computers and software programs.
  • Able to read and understand drawing, schematics, blueprints, and technical publications.
  • Have the ability to write test reports & test procedures in detail.
  • Familiar with basic troubleshooting protocols.
  • Work under general supervision and have the ability to multi-task and adapt to change.
  • Strictly adhere to quality procedures.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) Electronics: Understanding of RF & Electronics principles, measurement techniques, and familiarity with specialized equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues - Identifying and fixing problems with equipment, software, or test setups.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C and C++.
  • Experience analyzing data including analyzing test data to identify performance characteristics and potential issues.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
  • An associates degree in a relevant technology field or tech school equivalent.
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Able to work independently with limited direction.
  • Able to read and work from drawings and prints.
  • Computer skills helpful, specifically SAP and MS office applications.
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures preferred.
  • Knowledge of various electrical and microwave test measurements preferred.

The Salary Range for this position is $30.00– $42.00. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
