Job Summary:
Are you ready to be a senior manager at a uranium enrichment facility, overseeing facilities and contracts, managing shared resources with other tenants on a 3700 acre Department of Energy site, and tackling special projects? As the Facility Manager, you'll oversee site facilities, contracts and special projects in direct support of the Plant Manager, represent the company to customers and other stake-holders, direct completion of complex corrective actions, and manage other projects as directed by the Plant Manager. You're responsible for the safe and compliant operations of an NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) regulated nuclear fuel cycle facility. With the power to stop work when safety is on the line and the provide site leadership and instill confidence in both regulators and customers.
What You Will Do:
You'll allocate facility resources, manage contracts, and execute special projects as directed by the Plant Manager, you will have budget and schedule authority to ensure projects meet safety, compliances, and site standards. You'll oversee contracts supporting expansion and ongoing operations, ensure complex corrective actions are tracked to completion, and manage the relationship with other tenants on the DOE site to ensure critical services are retained. You'll provide leadership across the site, coordinate with company leadership, and manage cross-functional teams as required.
We'd Love to Hear From People With:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Science, or equivalent technical experience
- 4+ years of experience at a nuclear or other industrial setting in a highly regulated, rigorous environment
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a "Q" Clearance
A Successful Candidate Brings:
- Experience in nuclear or similar industrial field
- Experience managing contracts in a nuclear or similar industrial setting
- Experience managing licensed facilities and coordinating with regulatory agencies like the NRC or DOE
- Strong working knowledge of codes, standards, and quality assurance in nuclear engineering
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Currently holding an active Q-level security clearance

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance. Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made. In addition, once employe, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
