Java Developer (React + Spring Boot)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Java Developer with strong full-stack capabilities in Java, Spring Boot, and React to help design and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing applications. This role works closely with business stakeholders, senior engineers, and cross-functional partners to build modern solutions in compliance-driven environments including HIPAA.

Key Responsibilities

Application Design & Development

• Build and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Develop REST APIs, backend services, and modern UI components.

• Participate in architectural discussions and system design.

Engineering Excellence & Best Practices

• Participate in code reviews and mentorship opportunities.

• Utilize CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code.

• Support modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

Performance, Security & Compliance

• Implement testing, monitoring, and performance optimization.

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues across the stack.

• Ensure HIPAA and data privacy compliance.

Operational Support

• Participate in on-call rotation.

• Assist with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in application development.

• Strong Java experience with exposure to Java frameworks.

• Hands-on Spring Boot and REST API development.

• Experience with React.

• Advanced SQL and relational database design.

• Experience with Git.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive data securely and in compliance with HIPAA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, React in production environments.

• Familiarity with AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in healthcare or insurance systems.
