We are hiring an Order Picker to join our dedicated team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders, contributing directly to the efficiency of our logistics operations. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse locations using pick lists or electronic scanners.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all Safety regulations.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with inventory tasks, such as cycle counts, as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity goals for order picking.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE and follow Safety guidelines.
- Must be reliable and able to work scheduled shifts.
- Good stamina and physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
