We are seeking an experienced *Senior Project Manager* to lead complex projects across various departments, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proven track record in managing large-scale programs and implementing best practices in project management methodologies. This role offers an opportunity to influence strategic initiatives, oversee multiple project portfolios, and drive continuous improvement through innovative process management techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile frameworks.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects aligned with organizational goals using methodologies such as Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
* Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control utilizing tools like MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
* Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and perform detailed requirements analysis to ensure project deliverables meet business needs.
* Manage project scope changes through effective scope management and change control processes.
* Oversee program development and design by coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring adherence to quality standards using tools like Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
* Conduct root cause analysis and risk assessments to proactively identify issues and implement mitigation strategies.
* Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques for project tracking and performance measurement.
* Lead project teams through effective communication, conflict resolution, and meeting facilitation to foster collaboration and accountability.
* Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure deliverables align with project specifications.
* Drive process improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, Lean Six Sigma projects to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
* Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders on project status, risks, issues, and milestones using presentation skills and data analysis tools like SAS or Salesforce.
*Experience*
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within a complex organizational environment.
* Extensive background in managing large portfolios of projects using methodologies such as PMBOK or PRINCE2.
* Proven supervisory experience leading diverse teams across multiple projects or programs.
* Strong expertise in change management, requirements management, scope management, time management, cost control, risk management, and quality management.
* Hands-on experience with project management software including Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, Trello, Basecamp or equivalent tools.
* Demonstrated ability in program development, program design, business process modeling (BPMN), process mapping (Visio), and organizational skills.
* Familiarity with IT infrastructure projects involving ERP systems or content management systems is advantageous.
* Certifications such as PMP®, PMI-ACP®, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt are preferred; familiarity with Agile frameworks like SAFe or Scrum is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels. This role is integral to driving strategic initiatives forward through expert project leadership while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
