Über

A Repair Design Engineer is sought to lead and deliver structural repair solutions for in‑service aircraft. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on cutting‑edge aerospace projects and make a real impact on safety and reliability. This role will allow the right candidate to work on world‑class aircraft programmes within a culture of innovation, collaboration and growth.
Responsibilities
Assess and resolve structural damage requests from global customers
Author and release structural repair instructions for minor and major repairs
Provide expert technical support and innovative repair solutions
Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure timely, efficient service
Develop generic repair procedures to improve fleet performance
Engage with design organisations to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
Strong knowledge of aircraft structures (composites)
Expertise in structural repair principles and materials
Familiarity with Airbus drawings/specifications and non‑destructive testing (NDT) methods
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Airbus IT tools are a plus
Autonomous, organised, and a great team player with a strong customer focus
RTE delegation and A400M experience is desirable
