This role will be working across initiatives that support our EnterpriseServices(HR, Finance & Legal) functional area in projects that span across Europe with both internalandexternal teams in a matrix organisation.You will work in partnership with cross-functional teams to elicit, interpret and capture business needs into clear and concise functional / non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria. This role will be the consistent thread throughout the lifecycle of change, utilisingastrong analytical skill set to take business requirements through to successful delivery. Also supporting onboardingof a technical solution intoProduct Supportteams.Whilst not responsible for direct reports, there is an expectationthatthis rolecanhelptodrive the community of Business Analysts that sit across technologyfunctional teams with best practice tools, techniques, and methodologies. This role is offering a hybrid working contract thatcan be based either in our Covent Garden, London office, or our Ashford office and will require visiting either office 2-3 times per week.
The role willresidewithin the EuropeTechnology function. Theremay bea requirementto spend time with business stakeholders on site across Europe as projects require, or work across other functional pillars asdeemednecessary. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Responsible for translating business needs into clear technical requirements, ensuring proposed solution meets agreed outcomes. Key role in communicating between the business and technology, acting as a translator where necessary. Ensure personal knowledge and exposure to business change opportunitiesremainsup to date,appropriateand relevant. Planning and managing small scale change where needed. Serve projects that are part of the EnterpriseServicestechnology portfolio. There may be a requirement to deliver across functional areas / other technologies as needed. Support business function in the prioritisation of requirements based on business value, ensuring they are aligned to the desired outcomes and case for change. Work with business and technical teams, to ensure the recommended solution meets the needs of the business. Empowered to positively challenge and influence across teams if the requirement, solution, or case for change, to ensure alignment to the overarching business strategy and delivery roadmap. Communicate cross-functionally between operational and technical teams, acting as a translator where necessary. Work within internal project delivery governance processes, with familiarity of both agile and waterfall methodologies. About you:
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated Business Analyst experience within a Technology environment, supporting large scale project delivery involving business process and technology change, usingBusiness Analyst tools / techniques to elicit,documentandmaintainrequirements throughout the lifecycle of a project (both waterfall and agile). It would be highly advantageous to have experiencewithin HR,Finance & Legaltechnologyand/or a FMCG/wholesale/retail environmentwould be an advantage. You’ll possess the skills to build strong and long-lasting relationships with stakeholders through positive and proactive engagement.You shouldhave the ability to ask insightful questions to extract detailrequiredfrom stakeholders.You willpossessa high levelof attention to detail and be organised with the ability to present and document information based on the needs of the project.You’llhave an analytical and inquisitive mindset and think tactically and strategicallywith the ability topresent options to solve problems.You will be able to lead and coach others across the vertical who are in a similar role soyou will be able totake thelead under minimal supervision.
