Rock View Recovery is a boutique, trauma-informed treatment center in North Phoenix specializing in mental health and substance use recovery. We combine evidence-based modalities with experiential therapies, community integration, and brain-centered technology to help clients heal from the inside out. Position Overview

The Primary Therapist plays a vital clinical role in providing compassionate, individualized, and trauma-informed care to clients in our residential program. This position involves conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions aligned with program goals.
  • Document all sessions, interventions, and progress notes accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate closely with the Clinical Director, Case Manager, and Medical Team.
  • Lead process groups focused on relapse prevention, trauma healing, and life skills.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and clinical reviews.
  • Support discharge planning and coordinate aftercare recommendations.
  • Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and state regulations.
  • Provide crisis intervention and maintain a therapeutic, professional relationship with clients.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field (required).
  • Active Arizona license or associate license (LPC, LAC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
  • 2+ years of experience in a behavioral health or addiction treatment setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed, evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, IFS, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for helping individuals achieve lasting recovery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72, $82,000.00 per year
