Working closely with Admissions, Marketing, and Operations, the BDR builds high-quality pipeline, develops proposals, and contributes to sustainable B2B and B2B2C revenue expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify, research, and prioritize high-potential employer partners across corporate, tech, healthcare, real estate, professional services, and other sectors.
- Execute targeted outbound outreach (email sequences, cold calls, LinkedIn engagement, events, referrals) to connect with HR, People/Benefits, Total Rewards, and DEI leaders.
- Build and maintain a strategic enterprise pipeline aligned with Savanna's growth objectives.
Consultative Qualification & Discovery
- Conduct discovery conversations to uncover organizational needs related to retention, benefits competitiveness, productivity, working-parent support, and DEI goals.
- Qualify prospects using defined criteria and schedule high-quality meetings for senior sales leadership.
- Tailor messaging and outreach based on company size, industry, workforce demographics, and strategic priorities.
Partnership Development & Proposal Building
- Develop proposals, presentations, pricing models, and benefit structures demonstrating how Savanna enhances employee retention, productivity, and family wellbeing.
- Negotiate partnership terms, including employer-sponsored seats, preferred childcare pricing, coworking memberships, flexible benefits, or custom service packages.
- Support the progression from initial interest to signed partnership, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless setup and implementation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Marketing to refine campaigns, outbound messaging, and thought-leadership that attract employer interest.
- Partner with Admissions and Operations to implement employer partnerships and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for participating families.
- Represent Savanna at employer benefit fairs, HR summits, conferences, and community events to generate new leads and elevate brand awareness.
Reporting, Analytics & Market Intelligence
- Track KPIs: outbound activity, pipeline development, partnership conversions, enrolled families, membership growth, retention, and revenue contribution.
