Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Oversee food handling, cooking processes, and food production to maintain high-quality standards aligned with safety regulations.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking with accuracy and integrity.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Supervise staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance, including interviewing potential team members and conducting ongoing training sessions.
- Implement shift management strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment.
- Control budgets, monitor expenses, and contribute to overall food service management goals to maximize operational efficiency.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly.
- Coordinate catering, banquet events, or bar services as needed to diversify revenue streams.
- Lead by example in hospitality management practices that promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with culinary experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling expertise required.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development capabilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and health regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food industry operations is highly desirable.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Hospitality management background including shift management, food handling, catering coordination, or bar operations is advantageous.
