We're seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic team at Ovivi's Restaurant, an American fusion restaurant that serves creative and delicious dishes. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes that exceed our customers' expectations. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to our high standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish

• Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and excellent customer experience

• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality

• Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management

• Adhere to all kitchen safety and sanitation protocols, maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a line cook or cook in a restaurant kitchen, with experience cooking on a grill (If possible)

• Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles

• Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining a calm and focused demeanor in a fast-paced environment

• Knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment, including grills

• Ability to follow recipes and instructions, with attention to detail and quality

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively with kitchen staff and management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with American fusion cuisine or similar culinary styles

• Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory management systems

• Certification in food safety and sanitation (e.g. ServSafe)
