Role Description:

  • Responsible for leading all administrative functions of the facility, including finances, clinical operations, resident satisfaction, resident care, employee relations, and general facility operations.
  • Oversee staff engagement and ensure a positive culture aligned with the facility's values and culture map.
  • Ensure excellent resident care by monitoring services delivered and overall quality.
  • Identify problems or deficiencies and develop effective action plans to correct them; implement changes as needed.
  • Manage the financial performance of the facility, including oversight of all business operations.
  • Develop and implement short-term (quarterly) and long-term (annual) strategic plans that support facility goals.
  • Responsible for annual budgeting, reviewing P&L statements, and analyzing statistical and financial reports.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate programs to promote recruitment, retention, career development, and continuing education for staff.
  • Interview, hire, and orient direct reports.
  • Monitor productivity of direct reports and implement changes or support as needed.
  • Ensure accurate medical records are maintained for billing, auditing, and regulatory compliance in accordance with approved guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Current State Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Administrator or Executive Director in a long-term care setting
  • Ability to perform budget analysis and prepare variance reports
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state regulations related to long-term care
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Proven leadership ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive innovation and implement new ideas within the facility
